Kawakawa, Comfrey & Aloe Soap

Kawakawa - “Macropiper Excelsum” One of the most important botanicals in traditional māori medicine, rongoā. Also known as the “pharmacy of the forest”. The leaves contain “myristicin” which help trigger the release of nitric oxide from cells initiating the body’s anti-inflammatory response. It is an amazing healing botanical and can be used on a multitude of things such as minor cuts, wounds, dry skin, blemishes, eczema, rashes & the list goes on.

Aloe Vera - “Aloe Barbadensis Miller” A great botanical to have in every household garden. Aloe Vera has fantastic soothing properties especially for burns such as sunburn. It has anti-bacterial & anti-inflammatory properties, so great for reducing swelling & redness & is fantastic for healing & tissue repair. It was once called “the plant of immortality” by ancient Egyptians due to being rich in anthraquinones & vitamins A, C & E. I could go on & on about how amazing Aloe Vera is.

Comfrey - “Symphytum Officinale“ Another awesome botanical which like Calendula, is great for healing skin at a cellular level. It contains allantoin, an ingredient used in skincare products for it’s anti-inflammatory and skin regeneration effects.

Saponified Olive Oil-infused with Kawakawa & Comfrey, Coconut Oil, Sunflower Oil, Ghanaian unrefined yellow Shea Butter, Hemp Seed Oil & Castor Oil. Home distilled Kawakawa Hydrosol, Glycerine, Fresh Aloe Vera, Spirulina, French Green & Kaolin Clays & Pure therapeutic Oil Blend of Lavender, Peppermint, Rosemary, Eucalyptus & Lemon.

Before you use your soap, keep in a cool, dry place. Once in use, keep your soap on a well drained surface like a “soap dish” or hang in a “soap saver”. The more it drys out between uses, the more time it can spend with you.
